Horseback Riding Near Los Sueños Resort and Herradura

Los Sueños Resort and Marina sits in Herradura Bay, just north of Jacó along the Costanera coastal highway. Guests staying there, or in the condos and rentals around Herradura, are a short drive from our base at Finca Samudio in Jacó. This page helps you plan a ride from that side of the coast.

Getting to Us From Los Sueños

We do not operate from Los Sueños itself — our tours start at Finca Samudio in Jacó. The drive south on the Costanera (Route 34) is short, but traffic through Jacó can vary in the late afternoon, so allow some extra time for the Sunset tour. Use our Google Maps directions for the exact route and travel time from your accommodation.

Transportation

Many visitors drive, use a taxi or arrange a private driver. If you need help getting to the tour, message us on WhatsApp with where you are staying so we can check your options.

Choosing a Ride When You're Staying in Herradura

Herradura Bay is calm and sheltered; Jacó Beach is open and long. That contrast makes the Sunset ride on Jacó Beach a nice change of scenery from the marina. If you have already spent a lot of time in the sun, the shaded one-hour Jungle tour is the easy option, and in season the Waterfall tour offers a two-hour adventure inland.

Fitting a Ride Into a Resort Stay

• Morning or midday: the Jungle tour leaves plenty of time for golf, fishing or the pool afterwards.
• Late afternoon: the Sunset tour pairs well with dinner in Jacó afterwards.
• Seasonal: ask us about Waterfall tour conditions before you plan the day.

Groups and Families

Resort groups, families and wedding parties often ride together. Send us your group size and dates on WhatsApp so we can check availability and suggest the best tour.
